Sharif Rahman Conflict & the Struggle for Peace Scholarship recipients are chosen not for academic aptitude, but for a wholehearted commitment to the idea of Peace and Conflict resolution as reflected in their application. FIE will nurture this enthusiasm and encourage immersion into the host cultures.
Application requirements: submission of a cover letter, a recommendation from a professor or academic advisor, and a 750 - 1000-word essay titled ‘The Importance of Studying Peace and Conflict Resolution.
FIE will accept the academic recommendation used for the FIE program application.
